Why do I need to apply first?My styling service is an investment, so I want to ensure we're a good fit. If your application meets our criteria, I'll contact you to arrange a one-on-one Zoom call. This will give us a chance to meet, and I'll learn more about your style challenges and what you're seeking. I'll offer some initial thoughts on how we can work together, guide you through the process, and address any questions you have before we make any commitments.

How much should I budget for shopping?The cost varies based on your needs and what we need to replace. If you're not set on designer brands, a new look might be more affordable than you think. Once I know more about what you're looking for, I can estimate a budget for you. For a smaller wardrobe, you'll need a minimum budget of $2,500. For a more comprehensive core wardrobe, plan for at least $4,000 to $15,000. Clients that need suiting for work will spend more than a client that has a relatively casual style. I shop for my clients like I shop for myself - a mix of different prices.

Can I gift your services?We want to respect everyone's time and ensure the recipient truly values the experience, so we don't offer gifting of styling services. However, you can refer clients to us who are genuinely interested in this experience.

Why are you so booked in advanced? Do I have a waitlist?I appreciate the flexibility of running my own business, but the downside is that I can only work with a limited number of clients at once. I cap it at 3 clients per month. To secure your spot, I suggest applying as early as possible, as I often pre-book up to a year in advance. I also do considerable prep work to ensure our session runs smoothly. In-person consultations typically require a minimum of 4 weeks' notice, while online consultations are more flexible and can usually be scheduled within 2 weeks of booking.

Do you travel to clients?I work majority out Virginia and Washington, DC, both renowned for high-end fashion and luxurious resorts. It's an ideal spot for a quick style getaway. I'm also happy to travel to you for a consultation if that's more convenient. This is perfect for men who are too busy to travel or prefer the ease of staying in their local area. If you request a consultation in your location, it must be in a major metropolitan area, and there will be additional travel costs, subject to my availability.

Do we shop online?Yes, I aim to find everything you need while we're out shopping, but there might be some items we have to order online if a store doesn't carry them or if we're seeking a specific brand.

Do you only work with clients in Virginia, DC, and Maryland?We do offer in-person image consulting services only in the Virginia, DC, Maryland, and North Carolina area. Our in-person clients don’t have to live in these cities, but they will need to be able to travel there, at cost. I offer virtual services and work with clients globally, depending on their location. I'm also willing to travel to you for a consultation if necessary. This is particularly convenient for men who are too busy to travel or prefer the comfort of staying in their own area. If you request my travel services, the consultation must occur in a major metropolitan area. Please note that travel costs will be additional and my availability may vary.

How long does the makeover process take?It depends on the package you purchased and your goals. A full-day session typically lasts about 7-9 hours. While this may seem lengthy, it's essential for creating lasting change. If you prefer more focused attention with slightly shorter days, the two-day package is your best option. Some clients may require more time for their complete transformation depending on online ordering, tailoring, and other factors.
